RUET Career Forum launched its first prestigious flagship event in 2016 titled 1st RCF Job Fair. Thereafter RCF has been arranging its flagship Career event every following year on campus. This fair has been a great opportunity for undergrad and fresh graduate students from RUET as well as the north Bengal region to introduce them to the corporate world. Students have been able to judge their efficiency and quality throughout the event. Following every year, in 2023 RUET Career Forum arranged the 8th RCF Career Fair. Students and fresh graduates got the opportunity to submit their resumes to multidisciplinary companies.

What’s Happening: The "8th RCF Career Fair, 2023" will be held on September 15th and 16th, 2023, and is being organized by RUET Career Forum in collaboration with the Office of Students' Welfare, RUET, and REOSA as a community partner. This fair is coming with diverse counties like CV assessment, campus recruitment, career development related seminars, HR summit, analytical quiz contest, poster presentation, and offline games.
This event will make a pathway for the undergraduates, freshly graduates as well as the recruiters to connect with the real corporate world. This event will prepare the students for the tough competition of professional life waiting for them. They will have an idea about the criterion of numerous reputable businesses with career opportunities.

Students and fresh graduates got the opportunity to submit their resumes to multidisciplinary companies.

SCHEDULE OF TWO DAYS

The Opening Ceremony of the 7th RCF Career Fair was held at 09:00 am on Day 1 schedule and After the inaugural part the companies were introduced. Then the Chief Guests started to visit the stall. Then interested Fresh graduates and undergraduates submitted their CVs. After the prayer and lunch break there was one of the prime segment of the event - HR Summit Then there was another significant session, a workshop on mobile app development named “The Roots Of Designing Mobile App”. The workshop was conducted by Md. Soykot Hosen, Founder & CEO of Code Studio Software Company.
On the day 2 schedule - the CV submission and as usual event proceeded.After the prayer and lunch break there was an important segment, a seminar on ‘Study in UK; scopes and opportunities for engineering students. The seminar was conducted by Md. Mehedi Hasan, CEO Albatross Education. After the seminar the closing ceremony started and with the closing ceremony the mega event ended.

RUET Career Forum loftily and exultant to present, the most unique mega event of the country- “6th RCF Career Fair 2021”. RUET Career Forum is working for developing skills for undergraduate students as well as guidance for the professional world after completing graduation. We aim to connect recruiters and potential applicants of graduate and undergraduate students with job prospects in a broad range of professionals. This event helps students to achieve their career goals in the future corporate world as they meet with many established companies’ representatives here and it helps them to grab their dream job. This is the 6th consecutive time continuing the tremendous success of the previous career fair in association with the office of student’s welfare, RUET, and Rajshahi Engineering old student’s association. This time our career fair is evolving virtually for the first time.

SCHEDULE OF TWO DAYS

The opening ceremony of the 6th RCF Career Fair was held at 9:00 am online (Zoom & Facebook live) on day 1 schedule. After the inaugural part, a session was captured for the participating companies to the fair as an introductory episode. After the lunch break, there was two significant sessions, a webinar conducted by Banglalink on “Career Mapping in Telecommunication Sector” thereafter one of the prime segment of the fair- ‘HR Summit’ where Human Resources (HR) from the “Staff Asia” company directed the audience. On day 2 schedule- two special sessions were conducted by Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre (BYLC) on “Leadership Skills for the 21st Century” & “Panel Discussion (SQA & Cyber security Career Path)". After the lunch break of the second day, the first session was taken by Youth Opportunities (YO) on “Work from home: Utilizing these opportunities”, 2nd session by English Teaching & Training Arena (ETTA) on “Higher studies abroad”. After that third session was conveyed by British American Tobacco (BAT) on “Roadmap to BAT”. Finally with the closing ceremony this successful mega event ended. Students of RUET as well as outside students of RUET were welcomed to submit their CVs via RCF's official website for the vacant post of the respective participating companies.

The aim of the event of the career fair is to provide fresh graduates as well as undergraduates with guidelines from the best of the industry and knowledge about the criteria of various prominent industries. Continuing the success of the previous career fair, RUET Career Forum proudly and jubilant to present the biggest career-oriented event- Bizli Cable presents “5th RCF Career Fair 2019” on the 5th year of its establishment. This aspiring event was organized on 26th & 27th July 2019 in association with the Office of Student’s Welfare, RUET, and Rajshahi Engineering Old Students Association (REOSA).

The convenor of this event was Kazi Amit Hasan. Mominul Islam Rasel, Abu Said Md. Rezoun, Rifat Bin Siraj, Sumaiya Chowdhury Anika, and Anika Ibnat performed their duties as joint convenors.

Human Resources (HR) collected them with the help of coordinator and volunteer groups. Afterward stall visit & CV submission program, one of the key segments ‘HR Summit’ was arranged in the seminar room. An attractive musical evening was arranged at Shahid Minar premises in the evening. On day 2 schedule following the stall visit & CV submission program, company presentation & leadership in professional life seminar was held in the auditorium. Finally with the closing ceremony this successful mega event ended.

ABOUT

The RCF Career fair is a festival for RUETians to celebrate corporate culture, share effective visions, and reframe the career goals. RUET Career Fair has proudly presented this high reaching event for the 4th time continuing the success of previous career fairs. This aspiring event was organized on 2nd & 3rd November 2018 in association with the Office of Student’s Welfare, RUET, and Rajshahi Engineering Old Students Association (REOSA).

The convenor of this event was Abdullah Al Rafi Fahim. Shoikat Ahmed and Debabrata Sen performed their duties as joint convenors and Ahmed Sobhan Abir as organizers in this event.

On the day 1 schedule, after the opening ceremony at 9:00 is “Leadership in Corporate world (with BYLC)” session was arranged in the auditorium. In the field venue, there were stalls of every recruiting partner where Human Resources (HR) collected CVs with the help of coordinator and volunteer groups. Fresh graduates of RUET, as well as students from another varsity in Rajshahi, can submit their CV in the stall venue. An attractive musical evening was arranged at Shahid Minar premises in the evening. On day 2 schedule following the stall visit & CV submission, the recruitment interview started after the prayer & lunch break. One of the key segments of the “4th RCF Career Fair”, HR Summit was executed in the seminar room. This session created a platform for RUETians to learn from HR professionals through interactive presentations and team building activities. Finally with the closing ceremony this successful mega event ended.

To get some professional career vision and some real opportunities to start a shining career, RUET Career Forum has come with the main attraction of the year- Career Fair for the 3rd time titled as “3rd RCF Career Fair 2017”. This career-oriented event was executed in association with the Office of student’s welfare, RUET, and Rajshahi Engineering Old Students Association (REOSA) on 8th and 9th December 2017.

On day 1 schedule, The inauguration ceremony was held at 9:00 am. Then the stall visit and CV submission program started which was open for all. Students of RUET also outside students were also welcomed to submit their CV in the stall venue. Human Resources (HR) collected them with the help of coordinator and volunteer groups. Two seminars were arranged in the 3rd RCF Career Fair. After the stall visit & CV submission program, the 1st seminar of this event titled “Leadership & Entrepreneurship” was arranged in the seminar room. Subsequently, the HR Summit program where HR of Grameen phone and Crown cement participated was held. On day 2 schedule following the stall visit & CV submission program, the 2nd seminar on “Career talk” was executed. Finally with the closing ceremony this successful mega event ended.

ABOUT

The “2nd RCF Career Fair” was a leap from the Job Fair to Career Fair. The first-ever job fair was just a job fair but for the second time, it was the “Career Fair” with more events and segments. “The 2nd RCF Career Fair” is counted as a tremendous event executed by the RUET Career Forum for the growing professionalism of the students of RUET.

The substantial event was organized In association with the Rajshahi Engineering Old Students Association (REOSA) & Office of Student's Welfare, RUET. It was a two-day long event & started on the 21st of October 2016. The committee behind the successful event was the Executive committee of 2016-17. Mainly they are our alumni from RUET 11’ series, 12’ series, 13' series, and 14’ series.

SCHEDULE OF TWO DAYS

The event started with an Opening ceremony at 9.00 am which was telecasted by “Somoy TV”. The registration process for the seminars was going during the whole time from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm. From 10.00 am the process of CV collection & stall visit started. The day was full of enthusiasm & the eagerness of students for knowing about the corporate world was reflecting. From 2.30 pm the seminar on “Entrepreneurship & Business Management” & the keynote speaker was Proshanto Roy, Managing Director, Datacraft. The seminar was an interactive event that helped our students to centralize their idea about Entrepreneurship & Business Management. From 3.30 pm the “HR summit, presentation about their company, working environment & recruitment process” started & the event provided a great many ideas about the corporate world. On the second day 22nd October 2016, throughout the whole day, the CV collection & stall visit continued. On the second day, there were two seminars. At 2: 00 pm the Seminar: "Ceramic Corporate World & HR solution" started & the keynote speakers were Shariar Kabir; Manager(RND), Charu Ceramics LTD, Md. Amimul Islam; HR, Greatwall Ceramics. From 4.30 pm the seminar " Corporate Talk" started & the keynote speaker was Mohammad Tariqul Islam, Head of the group, Human Resource & Corporate Communications, Confidence Group.

ABOUT

The “1st RCF Job Fair” was organized on a vision to introduce the students with the corporate life being in the university. It was a massive step towards the future taken by our alumni from the 10’ series & 11’ series. They had to face a lot of ups & downs but they never stopped.

The glorious beginning of the RUET Career Forum, the “1st RCF Job Fair” was organized on 8th & 9th 2016 in association with the Office of Student's welfare, RUET. The committee who toiled for creating inspiration for the fellow batchmates & juniors was from RUET 10’ Series & 11’ Series. They were the pioneers who started the RUET Career Forum.

SCHEDULE OF TWO DAYS

The schedule for the two days started with an overwhelming opening ceremony & then the inauguration stall opening at 9.45 am on the premises of the RUET Shahid Minar. Then the CV collection & stall visit continued. The second day of the fair was full of CV collection & stall visits by the eager students of RUET.

There were two seminars, the seminars were divided into two sessions. The first seminar “Career Talk” was from 10.00 am -12.30 pm, the speaker was Shusanto Paul. The second session was from 2.30 pm & the speaker was Avijit Bashak. Both seminars were organized in RUET Auditorium.
